FC Dallas Pre-Thanksgiving Tournament

We played Friday night at 8:30 in very windy and COLD weather. The tournament is 1 1/2 hours from our house!!!!! Ashtyn played the least she had ever played before. They tied 0-0 and she was so very bummed. We watched the game before and saw Tony Dorset's daughter play. He was on the sidelines cheering her on. We thought it was really cool to see her play and also see him just being a dad!
Today, we played at 4pm. She KICKED BUTT! He finally put her as a forward where I believe she was born to play, and she did an amazing job. Her speed amazes me. She has been called a "little stick of dynamite" from Scott her Rec. coach. She had an amazing shot on goal and it almost went in. She was off just a foot or so. We play in the morning at 8:15. I need to go to bed as we will be leaving by 6:30 am! We lost 3-1 today, but they played so well and it was so exciting to watch! I hope she is on fire in the morning! I want her to be able to prove her ability as a forward.
